my tranfers case shifter moves left to right , isthat normal , i thought it should move forward and backwards, ?

 

thats normal. left and right locks and unlocks the t case.

 

Should also move front to rear to change your gears from High to Low.

 

Sounds like i have a problem if mine is only moving left to right (engaging the locking of the transfer case) . If mine is supose to move front to back engaging high and low rage is this a common problem , and is there a easy fix ? , thx

 

try changing from hi to low while rolling in neutral
