99 DII Bank 5 misfire
I spoke with my mechanic, and it turns out they had done the comp test, and it tested ok.. I didn't get the numbers, though. The heads were bench tested when the gaskets were replaced. I'll have to find out if they tested all cylinders, or just number 5. Regardless, I am having the leakdown test done this Thursday. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
Thank You

I think it's unlikely but not impossible that you've got a bad plug or wire.
Did the mechanic test the injectors only by seeing if the engine started after the initial work?
If it were me, I'd pull that plug and inspect, make sure it's not black (would indicate you're getting fuel.
If it's not, switch the injector with one from another cyl. see if the misfire moves.
How does it idle? Smooth?
luck,greg

Plugs and wires are new. I believe they said they "pulsed" the injectors. Idle does seem a bit rough at times. If I recall correctly, the plug color was typical of one that has been burnin antifreeze...a whiteish color.
