Default 99 disco II a/c problem

have a 99 discovery ii with 132k on it. had it for a year a/c been slacking off for last month or so. it still produces cooler air so i know the compressor is working, but the air is only like 70-75 degrees so it doesnt really cool anything down. i found a old 134a refill hose and hooked it up to the L hose under the hood to utilize the guage and its reading overcharged....but i dont see how this can be as ive never added any 134 to it... thoughts?

As the A/C compressor cycles it should read low/high/low/high. If it is overcharged it wont work at all. Try putting some in. Your gauge could be wrong.

Sounds fishy. I would try another gauge. Also the ambient air temperature will have an effect on how cool you can get you vehicle.

I care, glad that the gauge was bad and nothing else. So it was just low on R-134.
