No, the 4.0 liners are too thin to bore. They are wet liners, and you will have all kinds of problems. Then to stroke, you change the crank. Not really worth it in my opinion. If you change your cam, injectors, port the intake, exhaust, and heads, you will still have to have your ECU chipped to benefit from it. Landzu has a chip and loves it, but they are pricey. He is building up an engine as we speak. Might PM nim to see if he has any more info.

The bore is the same for both engines, strokes is the only difference.
Why does your engine need to be rebuilt, how many miles on it and what is wrong with it?
