99 Disco II - Just won’t start!!

Thanks to all for the advice and help! I cleaned the terminals again as well as the grounding wires. I charged the battery and all of a sudden this morning, there’s electricity to the vehicle again! I can lock/unlock, turn on radio and lights, but when I try to start, it’s just that rapid clicking noise right behind the dash. I’ve already replaced the relay fuse and the starter.

Oddly enough, i can start it with a jump, but it still doesn’t turn over on its own.

Just happy to have a vehicle that starts. Again, thanks to everyone.

that's a typical indicator of a depleted battery. try having it load tested. just because it shows voltage doesn't mean it can supply amperage.

Yep sounds like that battery doesn’t have the AMP’s needed to start anymore. 49.00 at walmart for an el cheapo group 65 battery.
