hey everyone. I have a 1999 disco II, I put stock 19s from a 05 range rover with the stock goodyear wrangle hps (both brand new). i also used the RR lugs since the disco ones were too big. car looks amazing, only problem is i have the wheel wobble now. steering wheel shakes at 45-50mph and then again at 65+mph. it only happens at these speeds. im pretty sure the wobble started after the wheels were on, though it may have been VERY minor prior. my disco has 55k, i put the wheels on at 51k. the wheels have perfect tire pressure, and i had them balanced. i think the speed at which the wobble started changed after the balance? this was weird. i read lr wheels are not balanced on the center hole? maybe this was not done?do you think its a bad balnce job, caused by the wheels themselves (or maybe the lugs do not fit the disco right?), or do i have a true case of the disco wheel wobble?

You might want to make a couple of calls, but I think the 05 RR wheels won't work on your 99 D2. I am concern about your having to change lug nuts, that tells me there could be a problem.
Don't drive it much till you make sure or you could loose a wheel.

had to change the lugs just becasue they wouldnt fit into the rr rim.

 

just got off the phone with atlantic british. said that thewheels were madeto sit differently on the hub and that the wobble only happens at high speeds becasue its just a slight difference and the speeds must be amplifying it. looking into solution, said might have to machine the wheels

 

Get some different wheels. 19's never worked well on Disco anyway, and they are hell off the road, side walls can't take the rocks and the tires won't allow you to air down when you want to play.

i got some hub centric rings, problem solved
