SO I'm about to purchase a discovery, looking at a 2000 to 2002 discovery series II. I wanted to post here and ask some of the common things I can check on this year range of Discos. The one I'm looking at does have service records, which is a requirement for me. I have allways wanted a Discovery but have in the past opted for Japanese counterparts in fear of too many headaches with the Disco. Well I'm finally following my heart and getting a Disco, and need some support in my choice.

Read up as much as you can BEFORE you buy. Do the proper maintenance and you'll have truck that is as reliable as any.....and way better looking
