Default ABS amigo codes are in

I'm trying to fix the ABS amigos so I can get the title for this Discovery II transferred. I used the scanner today and the first use was idle. It just said comms error. But the second time was successful reading codes.

The previous owner said she replaced the ABS modulator, the master cylinder, and had all the brake pads replaced. The amigos persisted and she was told there was an electrical problem somewhere else, not the modulator. Is the grounding bypass a reasonable fix here even though the unit was replaced?

Also this vehicle was hit with damage to the front left bumper, so no surprise the front left sensor is showing problems.

Any and all advice is very appreciated. I would love to knock this out. Here are the codes.

1.--Current Faults---->
Active Faults:
None
Logged Faults:
012:Pump fail monitor line
016:Shuttle valve long term fail
017:ECU internal valve relay bad

033:Front Left out valve open circuit
035:Rear Right out valve open circuit
040:Pump relay open circuit
073:Front Left out valve short to supply
075:Rear Right out valve short to supply
Front Left Sensor Bad Output
114:Shuttle Valve Electric Failure

Clear all thos e codes, then clean your battery cable and go to your local parts store to have the run a free charging system test, my money is on low voltage, should be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts. Then see what new ABS codes come back.

Drive it and see what comes back. I'm assuming just the 114.

So I realized there were no active faults and the logged faults were likely cleared, so I took her for a drive. No amigo lights are showing on the dash. Good sign. I took the truck to a nearby construction site. The abs worked when trying a sudden stop on the loose gravel and the traction control kicked on. Everything appeared to work and no new warning lights. Are my problems solved? We'll see I guess.

I suspect the shop that replaced the modulator unit never cleared the codes.

I actually did clean the battery posts the night before. I'm sure that was throwing some problems. My check engine light went away after I did that too. You guys are too good. Thank you for your comments.

jafir, you called it. My lights are back (check engine light too). 114 is the only fault I have showing. Best recommended fix anyone?

The fix in the stickies at the top of the forums are your best bet. Do the option B, repacing the switches if needed, and if there is brake fluid leaking down there, repace the seals too.
