ABS Codes Stored?

Nope, the lights have to be on to be able to read the codes.
Have your brakes been squeaking lately, are your wheels all black from brake dust?
By the way, it takes a special scanner to read the codes, engine scanners will only show a 1590 fault code that doesn't tell you what is actually wrong.

Well, looks like I will have to wait to see whats wrong. They came on once again, but yet went off as soon as I shut off and restarted the car.
My brakes are not squeky at all, but do create ALOT of dust. Seems like I am cleaning my front wheels once a week. I have read where this can be a cause. Do I pull the abs sensor out the hub and clean all the brake dust off it and the ring it reads?
First thing I did was make sure all my hubs were tight, i.e. no play or wobble. Good there. Then I disconnected the harnesses on each corner. One had minimal corrosion, rest were shiney. I found an ABS Amigo on craigslist for $100, but dont want to buy that unless it becomes a more frequent problem
