Default ABS Frustration

OK cleared and fixed the 3 amigos with the shuttle valve MOD and that fixed it other than a ground issue, chased grounds and fixed batter ground cable. All seemed good and all fixed. replaced battery and now the ABS and TC lights are back and just keep pulling ecu ground or reference ground fault.
so I ohmed out pin 8 on c0501 and get what looks like an open circuit on the meter. But my color of wire not match what other say it should. but it is a black wire on pin 8 of the connector. So not sure if i on the right wire.
Connector c0500 reads correctly on the meter for ohms.
So am I on the right wire for this ?

Frustrated as heck right now

ok tracked down two loose earth grounds in the drivers kick panel.
C0362 and C0017 fixed them scanned and reset the dtc and ran for few code gone but lights still on. I feel like i on the right track at least.
But still frustrated on resolving this matter.
