Default abs fuse?

Hey guys just took out my abs fuse from my 98 disco. Had the abs serviced awhile ago from a indy landrover tech. He cleaned and tested everything and it work great for a while. Then once again it started coming on at the wrong time. Simple driving on dry road tap the brakes to slow down and boom its coming on. God forbid it raining back and forth it goes on. As of now it stops good with no problems(stupid light is on but it was always on for time to time). What should I look out for now that I took the fuse out?

There is nothing you can do untill you replace the fuse and have the codes read. What were the originial codes, what were the repair?

The tech said that the people who had the truck before me took the bulb out. Replaced the bulb and cleared the code. Dont know what it was(code) but it seemed to work for about a month then it all started again. Have to fine time to drop it back off for the day.

Is your ABS still working, if so it could be as simple as a loose or dirty speed sensor.
When did you kast cgange the brake fluid, dirty brake fluid will throw the ABS unit into fits also.

You just need to bleed the brakes till you get clear fluid from all 4 wheels.
You can't drain a brake system without HUGH problems, so just bleed them.
Good luck,
Mike
