Default 04 disco electrical noise (ABS & fuse box)

Hi everyone,

I have some strange noises coming from my ABS modulator and fuse box. Nothing Oitside of my exhaust leak seems amiss so far but I'm wondering what I may have in store.

My truck has been sitting for 7 hours or so and I was looking under the hood since I've sprung an exhaust leak. I found that some how I am missing the two bolts between the exhaust manifold and the down pipe just above what looks to be some sort of secondary ignition source past the bend from vertical to horizontal in the down pipe. I need to find some bolts as it looks like the gasket is still just fine, anyone know what size, but I digress.

Just worked out the stud/nut issue. I need to order 2 more studs and nuts, I'll just replace the gasket while I'm in there. I can't understand how these worked their way loose and completely fell out. The 3rd came out fine and will go back in with the new gasket.

While poking around I was noticing some strange noises. The fuse box is making a steady tone audible noise with the same tone in a regular, steady pattern. I also noticed the ABS modulator is making a noise somewhat harder to describe. It sounds to me like what I would describe as an 80's movie rendition of a computer computing.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Everything is operating as normal and I know the ABS is working as we have been seeing a bunch of snow here in NM. When I mash on the brakes, the pedal pulses and the traction control engages and works well. Just wondering if anyone knows what these noises are all about?

Edit: while I was in there messing with the gasket, the abs and fuse box noise stopped. Maybe an 8 hour thing? Very strange.

Truck is an 04 discovery with 69,000 miles.

Thanks,
Stuart

Mine has the same thing. A VERY faint electronic "chirping" noise that you can only hear while under the hood. I've heard others have it too. I have left this truck parked for a month in the cold with no issues, so I would not worry about it honestly. I had hooked up a multimeter and there is virtually zero draw on the battery.
