Default (abs)/hdc/tc warning lamp illumination. 2004 land rover discovery series ii

My (ABS)/HDC/TC WARNING Lights sometimes come on and I get a warning signal. I turn the vehicle off and then restart it and the lights are gone but then they come on again a day or two later. The breakpads were recently changed by Land Rover Dealer. Anyone know what this could possibly result from.

Thanks

Sure there are quite a few reasons. First thing I would do is do a 1 quart brake fluid flush to get rid of the old stuff (assuming the dealer did not). Do your brakes squeak? Are they really dusty right now? It could also be a bad ABS sensor or a bad hub.

Worst case is that your ABS modulator is going bad or your shuttle valve is going bad. Could also be the connection between the modulator and the shuttle valve which people have figured out how to fix. You can get the codes read by the dealer or anyone with an ABS scanner. Even though they are not active they will be stored in the history.

I realize the dealer just replaced your pads, but do your brakes ever squeak,l this is the biggest cause of most 3 amigo's coming on and off.
