Default ABS help w/ 3 amigos

Afternoon all,

I have a quick question that some of you more experts could probably easily answer. Ran the abs amigo on my 02 disco and it logged 2 faults. 1 was front right sensor bad output and the other was the common 114 shuttle valve electric failure. I plan on fixing the shuttle valve with write up from this site. I wanted to purchase the shuttle valve repair kit from atlantic british and was wondering should i pick up a front sensor as well or will the shuttle valve repair kit possibly rule out the sensor output. Some of you have told me before that it could be the sensor or the hub itself to which I havent had time to check.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help guys. Greatly appreciated!!!

Yes thats the fix I was referencing in my 1st post. My question is would that clear the bad sensor output possibly or should I buy the sensor while Im buying the shuttle valve repair kit if the hub is sound.

More info. I forgot to ad in the original post. Ive used the abs amigo a few times in which the lights will come back on. Only twice has it brought up the bad front right sensor, and only once has it brought up the 114 code. A few times it didnt bring up any fault codes. That is why I ask should I worry about the sensor or just fix the shuttle valve for now and see what happens. Thanks!

Thanks for the link. There is one on atlantic british for half the cost. Is there a difference between the 2?

That is the kit of choice cause it gives you replacement o-rings that leaked, causing the problem and a new designed shuttle valve assembly.
