I just finished up the SVS Option B fix. Before the fix my ABS light would come on when I would brake hard enough to get the ABS to work. Occasionally I would also get the three amigos but they usually when away with a power cycle. Now since the fix, when I brake hard the ABS light doesn't come on but I can tell the ABS is working. Is that normal? Was the ABS light indicating an issue with the ABS and not that the ABS was triggered as I assumed?

 

You need to find someone with a 3 amigo type scanner to read the actual fault codes so you don't have to guess.

 

I did. That's why I fixed it.

My question was about the abs light. Is it supposed to illuminate when it's active or only when there's a fault when active?

 

Activates at bulb check (start up) and when there is a fault in the system. From page 68 of the owner manual.
