So by are you buying it for that price when you can rebuild it for $160 or less? What is wrong with yours, what fault codes do you have?

 

Very rarely would you need the entire thing. You can get just the valve assembly (which includes the shuttle valve switch, and also what it plugs into) but it's still $700-1000. Land Rover ABS Modulator Valve Kit (Same Fit As Genuine Part # SWO500040) | Land Rover Brake Parts The option B is the way to go. I wouldn't bother with the trailer connector though. It just gave me grief later on. Just use a wire tap and tap into the wire. You can unsnap the tap if you ever need to remove the entire modulator for some reason.

 

Haven't checked code yet. Just letting lr lovers kno price on new unit , i was sitting down when heard price , going to get codes read now ,3 amigos on just figured it was abs , will post results & didn't buy abs mod, can get maco paint job and have money for beer

 

Before you attempt any sort of repairs, you need codes cause therte are 16 items that can cause the 3 amigos to come on and it not always the module.
