My AC compressor has 214k miles on it and it’s leaking refrigerant and the clutch is gone. Getting a used one shipped to me next week. I see there are two o rings needed and found the OE ones but they are $15 each and they are also out of stock. Any recommendations on a good set to replace?
Autozone or similar store. Pack of multiple sizes goes for about $5. My opinion as long as they are the green version and the size is right it should work fine.
@WaltNYC thanks for the link to the rebuild kit. I ended up getting a used compressor for $65 and installed that along with a rebuilt alternator while I had everything apart. I got a o ring kit from Amazon. The two sizes needed are 9/16 and 7/16” o rings. The whole swap took about 2 hours with most of the time spend cleaning up all the oil and dye off the AC bracket. No issues with corrosion on any of the bolts however the AC line bolts had a ton of loctite on them.
