Default AC fan blower, fwiw...

Ordered a 4 seasons blower from Rock Auto and got it installed last night. Perfect size, easy fit, couldn't have been easier. Genuine plug and play part, no splicing needed. Blows damn good, not loud. Def 👍👍

On my 500.00 wonder the blower was INOP, found a melted wire to the resistor/blower relay. Fixed that, and the blower did run, but not fast at all. I did a cheap fix on that D2 as it's just 500.00, so I removed the blower motor, removed the rubber boot around the red/blue wire, and removed the two lower screws that hold the actual motor to the blower frame. I found the blower covered in rust/white corrosion which I'm sure is from the windshield cowl not being in place properly (will fix that soon). I simply took some brake clean to the entire thing, let it air dry then, I soaked the lower bearing in some Royal Purple lube I have. It immediately went from a nearly frozen state to very free spinning. Slapped it all back together, and re-installed it. Blower runs quiet, fast, and it cost me nada zip nothing.

However for 55.00 I wouldn't mind buying one of those for a new good spare!
