Default AC question

Hello

is there any filter in AC system? My D2 is smelling very bad from air system when turning AC ON or ventilating without AC activated...

after a a few minutes working it stops the bad smell...

That’s normal mysty smell
only way to kinda get rid of it is to use some evaporator coil cleaner on your evaporator

But there is a air filter foam etc under the hood

Unfortunately so. Unlike modern vehicles which may have a filter next to the evaporator (some even containing activated charcoal) , all we have is that mesh at the cowl which can keep small birds and large beetles from our evaporators.
