Default Acceptable Temperature Drop Across Radiator...

I've searched and I could not find a definitive answer here. Seems like average is -30 from inlet to outlet...but I'm experiencing -50 from inlet to outlet.

I have an INTERMITTENT, overheating when accelerating up hills. Happens about once a month and I drive about 3k miles a month (yea you read that right).

Fan clutch feels like its in peanut butter hot and cold

Waterpump does not appear to be leaking

Thermostat is a year old

Complete top end redone 10k miles ago.

Radiator replaced at 180k and there is 235k on it now. Ran Dex for about 30k after replacing radiator.

I suspect, a clogged radiator...Please don't answer with "Dex cool = clogged radiator"

The QUESTION is; what is an acceptable temp drop from inlet to outlet on the radiator?!
