ace Flushing and more
Hello there...newbie to the Forum. I have purchased a 99 Discovery Series II about a month ago (winter driver and towing vehicle). So far I have done the Rotors all the way around, Sway bar bushings(frame), Alternator bearings, the Tensoiner pulley along with the Idler arm. I also flushed Front and Rear axles. Notice that my transfer case was leaking were it mounted to the Transmission....Tightened the bolts and topped it off with 2 L of oil as it was low(All synthetic's). Once in a while My three famous lights will come on the dash board (TC, ABS, & the hill decient). This I am not sure why I am getting this...Could I have hit a sensor while changing the Rotors? Are they that sensitive? I also have a constant noise coming from the ACE pump when driven by the belt (sure that this is the ace pump mounted on front top of motor). Anyone know how to flush this system and replace the filter and location of the filter.....maybe this is normal but mine is very annoying. I also have a clunk on which I believe is my front drive shaft while driving. Not sure what this is. I would assume the U joints.
Thanks For any information in advance.
