I read somewhere that ACE, SLS, and back-up assist were all standard on the '03-'04 models but I have not seen an HSE with the same ACE reservoir as my 2000. Is it in a different spot or do they not make '03-'04's with ACE?

 

Definitely not a standard option. Neither my 03 or my 04 parts truck had ACE. There are two different reservoirs. One for trucks with ACE which is a reservoir with two caps and two sections, then one for trucks without ACE which is a single whole reservoir with a single cap and no ACE space

After 2 weeks of searching, I am starting to think ACE on a 2004 is a myth. Does anyone have an '04 D2 with ACE?

 

Never seen 2004 D2 with ACE. Get a 99' D2 and put a 4.6 in it.

 

I have only ever parted out 3 pre 03/04 Discos, 2 had ACE.

I have parted approx. 20- 03/04 D2's and none had ACE.

I don't think the one they test drove had ACE.

I'd be willing to bet money that ACE was never offered in NA as an option on 03/04 models.

 

Yeah, I did an image search, and they stole that image form somewhere else.

I'll never say never with land rover though. I used to think there weren't any non-SAI 03 and 04 until I saw one.

 

I had a non SAI 03 from Texas.
