I recently upgraded my 2003 transfer with an 04. I am now currently trying to activate the dashboard light. I have the two black wires that was attached to my transmission that supposed to attach to the wires on my new transfer case. The problem that I am running into is that the wire ends do not match I am stumped any help would be great.

 

Those wires probably just close a switch when you are in low range.
Put a light bulb in series with the two wires from the dash.
That way, the light bulb acts as a fuse.
I bet then the dash light goes on when you cross those two wires.
If the wires are from a simple switch, then the order or pairing will not matter.

This is my GUESS tho. So for what that is worth.

 

Ok I will search to see if any one has tried to do this. Have you ever heard of a diff lock switch? I am curious to see if that would allow the C0306 C0307 wires to plug directly into it and activate it? Thank you I found this part of the cdl swap being the hardest to me
