Default Adding 12v power ports

Has anyone added 12v power ports to the Discovery II. It would be nice to have one for the back seats passengers and a couple more up front. I would love to see some pictures of placement.

Under driver seat pointing to rear and in corners of dash fascia transition to center console, is where I have them

The only thing you might need to be careful of is running power close to signal wires. Electromagnetic interference can have interesting unwanted side effects on control circuits.

Do you need a HD alternator or will the stock alternator work?

I doubt it - what do you plan to run from them?

I'm thinking of recharging batteries, radios and running a laptop or two. No fridges or TV's!
