Default Reference information on Land Rover Discovery II Auxiliary Power Install

Just as an FYI, I just finished an install of 4 aux power outlets (for GPS / Cell phone, etc...) and did a short write-up. It was very simple to do, works great, and I think I spent about $20 on the whole project. Have a look at this link...

Thanks for this link. Regardless of where you tap power it's good to see how much space there is where you added your outlets.

Auxiliary power outlets can be purchased very cheap at Radioshack. $7.99 if I remember correctly.

All that I did was tap into the existing DC outlet, drilled a hole in my front ashtray to mount it and it looks like it came from the factory. I also tapped into the original and ran a wire all the way to the rear of the vehicle to add a DC outlet into the back of my DI for camping and such.

I figure i'll probably never be using all three at the same time and the worst that could happen is that I blow a fuse.....

If anybody wants pics....just let me know...
