Default Adding Lights to Brushguard

I am looking to add lights to the brush guard on my 2000 D2. How do I wire them to a switch on the dash?

you have blank switches where your fog light buttons are. get an etra cruise control switch from a junk yard or recycler here on the forum. run a relay under the hood. heat the switch from the igniton side of the fuse panel. wire the supply side of the relay from the battery and the corresponding side to the lights then your lights will turn on and off with the ignition. you need to use a cruise button because the light buttons require a latching relay. So if I order lights with a wiring harness, the only other thing I will need is a cruise control switch?

yeah basically. it depends on what your lights come with. I made the wiring that was on my lights, it fits the truck exactly. you may want to trim the wiring to fit otherwise you might have a bunch of extra wiring you'll have to hide.

I was looking at the KC SlimLight kit. It says it comes with pre-terminated wiring harness and relay.
