After a nice day of Off-Roading in NJ
Roof rack got pushed by tree when backing up
Slid full throttle on mud and hit a tree
another tree crossed my path
another tree not looking when I was backing up
slid towards tree sliding backwards on mud
I think a tree did this
this one too
this from a small tree
Nobody was spared in the trails. 8 of 8 discos got serious damage, from rear bumper and rear quarter panel damage. It was a test drive. first time the trail was used. Boulders, stream, mud, and a lot of standing and fallen slippery trees. Gained new respect for my old pal disco. She had a full traction control workout yesterday. Cheers

Bubble wraps are expensive.I am hoarding a bumper for months now got it for 600, thought of selling it last winter. I thought was heavy for daily driver but I guess I has to be installed. Just got a fender on ebay today, its green though.
Sure man. I will re-gear for future events. Cheeers
Ouch! Wheeling this time of the year is extremely difficult on metal/plastic parts. Darn frost is still in the ground, but the top few inches is soft after it warms up some...making for a slippery mess. Plus, wet logs are cold/frozen...so crossing them on an angle is super difficult...especially if still covered in frost.
Wheeled for three days up north over the weekend, but played with kid gloves and walked several areas before attempting.
Gerry, I'm surprised you couldn't find a silver fender....seems to be a pretty popular color.
Brian.
