Hi all,

i have upgraded the radio and all the speakers back in 2021. Sound is much better then stock after this upgrade. Only ‘weak’ point is the stock amplifier. I’ve searched the internet for info on replacing the amp with a 5 channel amp, but did find much info.

my questions for now;
- is every door getting it’s power straight from the amp?
- do the two woofers in the taildoor also get their power straight from the amp?

i want to power the front/rear/tail door speakers separately, that’s why i think i need a 5 channel amp. But i’m not sure if this is possible with the stock speaker cables.

If anyone has some more info about upgrading the amp or has experience with an amp upgrade…i’m all ears!
