I found a diagram for the radio wiring. Ican't remember where I found it but I found it on the internet. It allows almost anyone to hook up an aftermarket radio to the factory amplified system and have it work right the first time. It is very simple once you figure out how to connect the wires from the new radio to the factory harness. It works great. Might want to Sticky this so others can find and use it easly. Mine came with no CD player and I Couldnt live with out mine. Enjoy

So... To someone who knows nothing about a wiring diagram... What exactly does that all mean?

 

The wiring for the D1 is different. It uses common ground for all the speakers so a converter is recommended to convert from individual grounds to common.

 

D1 Wiring:

 

The din 13 pin connector on the left side of the diagram is for the factory CD changer. That wont be used on an aftermarket deck unless you happen to find one that will work with the factory changer. Plugs A, B, C are tan, gray, and pink respectively. If you use a wiring adapter harness, which I recommend, you will only use the pink (plug C) and gray (plug B) connections. When I wired my new stereo, I followed Crutchfield's recommendation and used a interface adapter (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127OEM2...2.html?tp=3486) to allow the factory amplifier to be kept in the system. I don't know if it would or wouldn't work without the interface but I know it works great with the adapter. I even get more volume out of my new deck even using the factory amps in the system. My new deck set to volume level 6 is equal to the factory deck cranked all the way up. The sound is clean as possible with factory speakers and my subwoofers even work.
