Aftermarket Wood Trim?
Anyone ever seen one of the kits from http://www.exoticwoodtrim.com in person? Seems like a lot of wood for cheap! But its no benefit if it looks thin or fake right.

I saw one in person that had the kit from atlantic british, and it was just ok looking. To much wood just doesnt look that great on a disco. Its pretty obvious that they are just stick ons, and if you put them on sideways its looks super cheesy. I will say though, the best place you can put wood is in the middle area betweem the seats with the Drive selector. The kit im talking about can be found on Rovers North and its only 4 peices. It makes the middle area there easier to clean and it doesnt look cheesy.

The image in the left corner shows which peices the kit comes with, it does not come with everything show in picture. Here is the link if you want to check it out:

I agree on it being overkill. I don't think I'll be using every piece. I bought a different one for $125. I figure with a 30 refund and a ton of great ebay feedback it can't hurt to give it a try. We'll see.
If you find someone parting out a 95 RR Classic with LWB they have the same dash as a D1 and come with factory wood trim. I'm on a casual look out for one as I'd like the clock out of one to replace my digital clock. Actually I'd like two of them. One I'd gut to put my oil pressure gauge in so it would kinda look factory.
