Default Air in the ACE system?

Replaced the main hose from the pump to the supply pipe that is attached to the front crossmember. Brand new Britpart from Lucky 8. Now a "whine" from the pump, and no fluid movement in the reservoir. According to the Nanocom/Lucas procedure, "If air is present in the primary circuit (pump, attenuator and PCV) the system will self bleed shortly after starting the engine. The unwanted air will escape when it reaches the reservoir."

Did about a 10 min drive, still no fluid movement. Shut it off and waited for the next morning, started it up, still no movement. The Nanocom/Lucas instructions indicate that the Nanocom bleed procedure is to be done if there was air allowed into the rest of the system, which nothing has been disturbed.

Thoughts? Pump was fine, everything worked great before except the main hose leaked. Now, ????
