Thanks everyone, for the advice. I think the plan right now it to buy the Rovertym spacers and leave the air bags in. I've got the extended warranty, so if the ybreak before the warranty is up I'll get them replaced. If they out last the warranty at least I have some springs to put in when they break.

Looks like its only a 30min job to do the conversion...maybe buy the kit and take it with ya off road
After the last 3 hour limp home I would have been happy to swat mosquitoes and wrench in some coils to be able to go faster than 4mph......actually had to stay in 4lo and ride the brake for 3 hours. truck was still great off road as a low rider, but it took all the skill I had to make it through.

Yaa that is a great idea! I have two of these 4"x4"x4" hard rubber blocks I have been saving them never new why till mabe right now! this is what im thinking "IF" I loose my air bags I could jack up my rear by the hitch and insurt the rubber blocks by the air bags and drive home SLOWLY! LOL what do you guys think?
