Default Air Compressor wont turn off

Driving yesterday my air compressor turned on and now it wont turn off. i have removed 3 of the larger connectors near the air compressor but it still wont turn off. what else is causing the air compressor to run, and in disabling the air compressor will i lose air in the rear air suspension?

No, your a/c compressor has nothing to do with the SLS suspenion. How do you know your compressor is on? Have you turned it off at the dash?

Have you checked for an air leak at the bags or air lines?
You can always pull the plug at the pump, that will turn it off but your suspension, if it has a leak , will then drop.

Disco Mike, My rear end on my disco II is low. I have already checked sensors, lines, bags, the compressor comes on but only for about 45sec to a min then turns off. Any advise?

Pull relay #5 in the engine compartment fusebox, and then work out where your air leak is.
