I was replacing my air filter, and when I unlatched the cover one of the latches snapped off (with very little force, so I'm guessing it was about to give anyway). I was wondering if this will effect anything, since it doesn't fit as snuggly now, and if I should replace the cover? I've looked on atlanticbritish.com and roverlandparts.com and have only found the air filter housing unit. So if I do need to replace the cover, I'd appreciate suggestions on where to find one...other than a dealership. The closest LR dealer is about 2-1/2 hours away.

 

I think you can only buy the lid with the box, I would call the closest dealer to make sure and if need be have them ship it to you.
Yes, if will cause problem for the MAF sensor if you run with a broken lid.
