From the photo it looks like Alveston, but it's actually Kinversand Red, really more of a burnt orange. Happened on it while browsing ebay!

The failures on my P38 were similar. I doubt that it’s your vehicle, I think that’s a flaw in the Arnott design. I also agree that Arnott stands behind their warranty, but I didn’t want to risk a third catastrophic failure, which is why I went back to Dunlops.

Are the Dunlop bags still available? I don't think I've seen those around, just crappy obscure brands and also Contitech.

I ordered mine from Island 4x4 in the UK 2-3 years ago, but they are for P38 not D2. And they are Dunlop.

I noticed today that the new Arnott air springs say Contitech on the rubber part. (I'm replacing original date code 1999 air springs on a D2 with new May 2022 date code Arnotts). The last go round in 2020 when I replaced mine on the other D2, they did not say Contitech. ? Interestingly the original LR springs also say "Contitech" on them.

Wondering if I'll have issues, but I was pleased with the fact that Arnott now includes new top clips with the D2 parts! (also not included in the last batch I bought)

I made a post not long ago about my Arnotts. Same issue with the metal ring. I think I went through about 3 of them while trying to install and calibrate them. This must be a full defective batch. I bought mine over a year ago and have yet to send them back to the seller for a refund. It's on my list of To-Do's. I went with some Dunlops as the Arnotts were not reliable. So far I've had the Dunlops in for a year and no issues so far.

Here's my old thread about the same issue: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...r-bags-107165/
