Default Alarm issues('00 Disco 2)

I have orderered a owners manual for my 2000 Disco 2, but it is going to be a week before I get it. The alarm keeps spazzing out sometimes on me and I don't know what I am doing wrong. The previous owner had it down, but somehow I keep triggering the system. When it goes off as I am putting the key in ignition it will not let me start vehicle, so it is really annoying. What is the trick to disengaging the alarm right by using the keyless entry. I thought just clicking the unlock would do good, but that doesn't always work right.

All you have to do is click the unlock button one time and that is all.
Try locking and unlocking the drivers door, slowly, 3 times either with the key or the remote, this will usually remove any simple glitches in the alarm system.
