Default one shot into swivel *****

Putting one shot in. I turned the wheel all the way to one side and I can see past the housing. I see a bearing/axle(?) in there. Turning gives a lot more room for the grease to enter, but have never read to turn the wheels when adding oil/one shot. My question is whether the grease is for this bearing/axle(?) and whether turning the wheel is a proper method for filling?

Thank you.

Yes, turning the wheel allows easier grease entry. You are adding grease to lubricate the half shaft pivot, which is basically a CV joint without the rubber boot on it. I just use CV grease from the local autozone which seems to work fine and leaks less than the runny snot from Atlantic British.

Dont use to much, it will blow out your axle seals.

Is the LR one shot package the right amount for one side?
