Default Alarm light blinking,wont start

Had some body work done to my truck and when I went to pick it up they said they couldnt get it started,it looks like the alarm is on but I cant get it to disarm.I have never had a problem disarming it,now my truck is stuck at the body shop and I am stuck with a Hyaundai Sonata(rental).
Any suggestions?

Do you have the remote?
Does the key unlock ALL of the doors (you might have to turn it twice).

When I hit the remote the yellow lights on side blink and i can hear a clicking noise from the dash but when I tried to start the truck the only thing that happens is all the warning lights come on .

Does the remote lock and unlock the doors?

Also, what kind of body work was done? Rumors are that a bad drivers' door lock actuator can cause weird problems with the alarm.

Default same problem

I know you posted the challenge with your disco not being able to start and the alarm stuck on two years ago, but did you figure out how to fix it? I am having the same problem. Kindly, Jacob cu42dk@gmail.com

Replace the battery in your key fob? Disconnect the main battery in your Disco and put it on the battery charger for a few hours on a regular charge, reconnect and see what happens.

The other thing that can happen is if the emergency fuel switch gets tripped then the hazard lights will flash, the dash light will come on but nothing will happen when you try to turn it over.

If all the body shop did was work on a rear door then the fuel switch is not likely the issue as it needs to be hung upside down for it to trip so this would mean it was removed from the firewall in the engine bay and left to hang or your Disco got turned upside down!

Make sure all "5" doors are fully unlocked.

My rear passenger side door mechanism is starting to go and is very slow damn near almost unresponsive when I press the unlock button on the key fob. Sometimes I have to hit the unlock button twice to "fully" unlock the door so the light stops blinking on the dash thus allowing me to start the engine.
