i am looking at the schematic on my rave file

maybe someone else knows how to copy the page and post it. but if you start under the hood and check there then the passenger compartment. i believe all the fuses, relays and flashers will be there. might even be labeled.

Open the page, hit Alt+Printscreen
Open Paint Go to Edit in toolbar click Paste
Screenshot Image will appear
Save Image
Upload to www.photobucket.com or other Image hosting websight
Click image in text tools, insert link to image there.. VWALLA

thats more then i am capable of at the moment. just home from a few martini's

you likely issue is the switch right next to the steering wheel.

See if your lights on the speedometer light up, and see if the radio dims, if not then I'm thinking you need a new switch

A junkyard will charge you much more than you think is fair, so if you need one let me know and I can probably get one for you for like 10 bucks

it could be that switch, what is that switch called, the reason I think it is, is b/c the guy i picked it up from said the speedo didnt work and i guess some of the tail lights didnt work, so he wired the speedo so it always lights up and he fixed the tail lights, he rewired them. Where is that switch? How much new? Is it easy to install?

OK, turns out I keep blowing the fuse. Its the fuse under the hood in the passenger compartment that's called "SIDELIGHTS: I put a new fuse and it popped instantly, so that means one of my tail lights are grounding out, much happier than that headlight switch

UPDATE: The front passenger side light is the problem I think. Since the socket was missing, someone electrical taped it and the wires were exposed as well as wet, I traced it down all the way to the headlights,by the battery in the engine compartment and the black and red wires were not only touching but were all melted onto the black rubber protector that goes over the wires. So it seems like I need to cut that all off and put new wire.

Question. I have a brand new CB RADIO power cable with black and red wires that goes from the Cigarette Lighter to the CB RADIO, can I just use those wires for my lights?
