Default alternator 94 disco

Help I took my 94 disco in for a tune up at a local foreign repair shop They took my distributor out and can't get it back in and they also say they can't find another one !!! Any ideas Please help

There is no secret to reinstalling it, not sure why they are having a problem.
If for some reason you need another one, there are a number of after market replacements that are less money and better quality.
Let us know how it goes.

it seems they had no trouble finding yours, why would they be replacing it anyways?

search these and other forums, it's not that difficult to find a used, rebuilt, different upgrade,etc.

I've not had a distributor not go back in place that I ever recall (since 1959)

My question is did they break something removing it?
(that's really hard to do, as they are not fragile)

Is it the alternator or distributor? Your subject and message don't match.
