I'm curiours, if both of our lights are on, but your ABS doesn't work and mine does, could that indicate the source of two individual problems? For instance, I have ABS but no Hill Decent. Could that rule out the hubs and shuttle valve and point at a modulator? or other way around?

I've read other posts where owners took their truck to the dealership to have the brake system read by the LR/Factory reader (Testbook?) and the dealership still says "it could be a number of things". Am I wrong, or can the dealership pinpoint the problem? Mike?

You are right, it could be a lot of different things from I've read also, but I had mine read a while back with a testbook and the fault was shuttle valve and right wheel sensor, I'm leaning towards my problem is with the shuttle valve. But I will test it again today and see how it acts and let you know.

As you can see every time you read the codes it pushed the older one out of the way. so go out and plug it in again and the ground fault wont show. WHICH MEANS you and I have more in common than we thought.

Well I did the wiring check suggested by the TSB and by RSW website and , from what I can tell, everything is ok there. So now I guess I'm moving forward to the Shuttle Valve Kit and if that doesn't work then I guess on the Modulator itself. I know AB has a SV kit but I also found one from Falcon Works in Arizona, I spoke to him yesterday and his thoughts from my description of what was going the SV kit should take care of the Amigo's, but there is a chance it will not.

I guess that is where I will start

JYCsalas... THANK YOU!!!

2 months ago I did your 3 Amigos "ABS mod" from your write-up and I have been Amigo free since.

Everything works perfectly and I'm getting used to the truck not chiming with the dash lighting up.

Everyone with the Amigos should try this fix.

Thanks again.
