Also when you do a 25k/1 year (whichever comes first) extended drain you change the filter at least twice. Many modern engines can do 25k/1 year OCI (non severe service) easily due to having roller tappets and being very easy on oil.

Cool, I use synthetic right now, I still wouldn't go 7,500 miles without changing the oil. 4K tops. Thats just me though.

Thanks for all of the great info, just wanted to know if it was all a load of BS or if it was actually for real.
