@Richard Gallant understood, I just thought maybe you had done it per your first comment. I’ll look into it for now thanks. And yes motivation and time are the only factors holding me back haha
edit: sorry I addressed John’s comment.

About the tablets, they are sort of a last resort. I know my vehicle's cooling system is very clean an can handle them. They worked to dry up some annoying seepage from radiator end bell gaskets (aftermarket aluminum with plastic ends). Not sure how they would perform on a pressurized system.
One pack of six from an auto parts box store. I dissolved and mashed them up, siphon to free up some volume in the radiator to install, then run the engine to open the T-stat. A lot of the mass ended up in the coolant recovery tank, so I stir it up once in a while. I understand they were installed in GM vehicles at factory at some point in the past. A little bottle of K-seal was also an option, but I wanted to test the tablets and they worked great. The bits are small enough to not block radiator or heater cores. Cost less than $10. Probably problems with clogging is a risk if too much solid material is added to the cooling system, so only add a little to solve little leaks.
