Another newbie question from a new owner without a owners manual. 1994 Disco 1. The "SRS" red light is on. That is the only light that stays on after starting to drive the vehicle. What is it?

So, there may be a connection problem with the airbag sensors?

This would have nothing whatsoever to do with the operation of the vehicle, I am guessing, and can be ignored.

 

Over 10 years old, thge system may have failed, they are supposed to be inspected every ten years. It could be something as simple as a low voltage issue, a bad spiral ring, the computer or a failed, out dated bag. Don't try to mess with it, they are dangerous, let a shop check it for codes.
