Default Anti-Lock Light

My ABS light has been coming on periodically since I bought my Disco this summer. In fact it is on more than it is off. I finally pulled the ABS valve fuse to keep the ABS from operating and causing potential problems. My question is whether pulling the sensors and cleaning them could possibly fix the problem. I have noticed quite a bit of brake dust on the front wheels so I wonder if that may be part of the problem.

Brake dust will cause brake squeaks which will drive the speed sensors nuts. Replace your pads, using lots of sound deadening spray to stop the squeaks and don't forget to do a 3 pint brake bleed.
