Default Water Pump Gasket weeping...

I pulled off the front underbelly panel today to install an onboard compressor on to the chassis rail (it's for the AirLift suspension kit), anyway, looking upIsaw a very slight leak from the water pump gasket...barely forming drips, but there is a little bit of corrosion so it must have been like this for a while. There is no noticeable drop in coolant level, so I'm just wondering if I should be very concerned and get this fixed immediately or just keep an eye on it and wait till my next major service?

That's suprising for your early mileage. I would say wait until your 45k service, and then change it out when you are doing your fluid flushes. However, I believe I have seen on here where leaky water pumps are indicators that the bearings and impellers are going bad, if you want to search for it.

You want to keep an eye on it, leaking seals always get worse with time.

Thanks guys, I'll keep an eye on it then. I have the LR Assured warranty and I'm pretty sure gaskets and seals are covered, so i'll have them do it at the 45k.

Here's what it looks like:
