Default Any Disco 2s running 235 85 16 in San Diego?

Hey all, been doing tons of maintenance on my 99 Disco 2 and am finally to where I'm looking at a slight lift plus tires, I know the favorite tire choose is 265 75 16 but in really interested in 235 85 16 due to it being a bit narrower. Any body in San Diego area running a 235 on their stock wheels want to meet up so I can check them out in person? Thanks in advance
Jose

Said the cereal killer looking for new tires...lol.

Just joking. I believe you need a narrower rim for the 235/85 to get them to preform correctly. Several folks here have made the change and should be able to offer up pictures, too.

Glad you have a good sense of humor, always debate about posting stuff like that...since you never know the persons mood...and I'd hate to turn a normally sane person into a cereal killer by pissing them off...lol.

Debated about the 235/85's before buying my 265/75's, thought the narrow width would be better for trail and mud running. But, didn't have the extra money for rims.

Good luck, with your tire endeavor.

It'd be Cheerios. They look like tires.

thanks, I really want to replicate the Camel trophy truck look, and my research has turned up that narrow tires would work better for me. Bit I also don't have it in budget for new wheels. Might have to go with 265 75 16. How do you like them?

I like the look, have you had any issues with keeping beads on if aired down? What air pressure do you run off road? Thanks
