I never air down. I've always ran my normal 45-50 psi. These particular cheap aggressive (Mastercraft) tires hook up good everywhere.

Ok thanks, just one last question plz.. Did you notice a significant loss in power with the 235s? I keep hearing that 265s will kill your low end off the line and a good 1.5 mpg on avg

I don't recall any noticeable power difference...And I still get terrible mileage 11-12 mpg's. I would like to see 7" wide steel wheels under mine, I think it would square up the sidewalls a bit.

I believe my odometer was about 10 miles off for ever 100 miles driven (with tire change)...so you have to factor that into the equation.

Example...

300 miles (odometer reading) divided by 20 gals of fuel = 15 mpg.

330 miles (actual miles traveled) divided by 20 gals of fuel = 16.5

I didn't notice much differences in mileage, when going from 255/65' to 265/75's. The biggest difference I notice (when I use to drive it on the road)...was where I bought my fuel.

This makes me want to check my odometer again, I know its off a little, but not 10mph's.

Is it possible to recalibrate the speedometer/odometer in a DII via the SLABS or otherwise? I doubt it and I don’t recall ever being discussed on the forum.
