I've been putting coolant in my d2 for a little while now but I got a bad external leak. I asked around and most mechanics basically refused to work on my motor as it is apparently doomed to fail, and the ones that were willing were extremely expensive. If anyone knows of a good mechanic who can do my head gasket in the south NJ area they could recommend that would be great, as I cannot find anyone who is willing to work on it.

 

Do it yer self, it isn't that bad of a job. I just did mine -- took some time but finally got it all buttoned up. I think i spent around $600-700 including $450 to have the heads machined.
