I understand it's a longshot, but any guesses? It sounds like it's coming from the flex plate inspection hole on the engine bell housing. I recently went mudding and probably got a bunch of water and mud in there, so maybe mud or a rock stuck in there?

However, it didn't start making that noise immediately after getting exposed.
